We wonder how we got along with the old and for some, they don’t want the new. Once you see the value of the new to replace the old, like losing weight, change of wardrobe, or a new car, you begin to embrace the future.
In my life, it is not always easy to move to the new. I am set in I have always done it this way. The other day I was in a store and something happened so the computer/cash register did not work. After a lengthy amount of time, I said, Just get a piece of paper and a pencil, and we can have this done in no time.
I do embrace change, and even challenge myself.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. (II Cor. 5:17-ESV) It is just about that simple, but I must believe that today is a new day, and I am a new creation.
Make a decision today, 2018, not to focus on past things, but look to the future (today and tomorrow). That can keep you busy for some length of time, and it could impact your life.
Life could be very different in a short period of time.
